I have hands-on experience with HTML5 and CSS3, building a variety of simple, functional websites from the ground up. My approach focuses on clean structure, semantic markup, and layouts that communicate clearly without unnecessary complexity. Over time, I've become comfortable creating multi-page sites, organizing content with reusable components, and styling layouts using modern CSS techniques such as grid, flexbox, media queries, and responsive design fundamentals. While I have incorporated JavaScript into several projects—mostly for basic interactivity and small UI enhancements—I would not yet describe myself as fully proficient in JavaScript. However, I understand the fundamentals, can modify existing scripts, and continue to expand my knowledge as I work toward full-stack development.
I have created several personal projects, including PGFracing, a custom HTML/CSS website blending Bible-focused content with racing history and media. The site features a hand-coded site along with ai assistance to speed things up, structured pages, and community-driven content, reflecting my ability to bring ideas to life without relying on frameworks or templates. I have also built earlier racing-related sites such as NationalKarting.com, which previously reached around 25,000 monthly users. These projects demonstrate my ability to design, organize, and maintain websites independently, while adapting content to different audiences. Recruiters should know that I'm consistent, self-driven, and eager to keep improving my skills through real-world projects and continued learning. Back to the front page.
