Pride leads to quarelling. In my younger years and even as adult it's tough to listen to hear the other individual out and agree with them; especially on certian topics. The Word says we should be willing to accept correction and direction, which can be difficult to do when you firmly believe you are correct. So what do we do, do we just agree?
I personally think patience and kindness wins the battle. Paul spent three years learning and many years teaching. We normally don't get revelation over night. Sometimes after a run or after a good nights sleep a revelation might happen, or epiphany however they are few and far inbetween.
Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
