Christ's Everlasting Kingdom

Full Preterism understands these passages as describing a kingdom Jesus received and established, rather than one still waiting to begin.

Luke 1:32-33 declares that Jesus would receive David's throne and reign over the house of Jacob forever. His kingdom would have no end. The New Testament identifies Jesus as the promised Davidic King, exalted to God's right hand after His resurrection (Acts 2:30-36).

Daniel 7:13-14 shows the Son of Man coming with the clouds to the Ancient of Days, where He receives dominion, glory, and an everlasting kingdom. Jesus applied this prophecy to Himself, saying He would come with the clouds (Matthew 26:64). Full Preterism understands this as Danielic judgment language, not necessarily a future physical descent to earth.

Isaiah 9:7 says His government and peace would continually increase upon David's throne. Thus Christ's kingdom was inaugurated through His resurrection and enthronement, while His first-century coming in judgment culminated in Jerusalem's destruction in AD 70.
