Who escapes physical death no one. All die just like Adam. The idea of a physical death being defeated like a highlander on earth is not taught in the Bible. Eternal life is found positionally on earth and fulfilled in Heaven after you die. It is appointed man to live once then judgement.

Christ is raised to heaven first, then at his coming in 66AD, those who are dead are raised to new life, then we as we die will also be caught up to heaven in our new spiritual bodies. Even if we are caught up physically what some would call a rapture they still aren't on earth living a thousand years they are caught up not staying down on earth.
