  1. 3 Days & 3 Nights Heart Of The Earth Matthew 12:40
This is commonly used against a sixth day of the week crucifixion stating that how can you get three days and three nights with a 6th of the week crucifixion. Heart of the earth is often misunderstood to be the tomb, but what is meant is that Christ would be delivered into the sinful hands of the world or the heart of the world. See Revelation 13:3 where the same Greek word, ghay, Strongs #1093, found in Matthew 12:40 is translated 'world' in Revelation 13:3 correctly. Unless, you believe that dirt worshiped the Roman beast. So when did Christ get delivered into the heart of the world?

Luke 22:53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. (KJV)

As you can see Christ was delivered into the hands of men after the Passover supper in the garden at the night of Abib 15th shortly after eating the Passover (see Jubilees as to when the Passover is eaten), so this is (1 Day) night one, Abib 15th is day one when he is crucified, (2 Days) Abib 16th was the weekly seventh day Sabbath which is night two and day two. (3 Days) Abib 17th night three and the first day of the week morning is day 3, Christ is raised from the dead at sunrise. (Mark 16:9) Just as the first fruit or the wave sheaf offering always happened on the first day of the week.

    Scripture
    1. Luke 13:32 ( How to count to three days properly.)
    2. Matthew 26:20 (Christ Eats Passover Correct Day Abib 14th 1 Night
    3. Matthew 27:50 (Christ Gives Up Ghost on Abib 15th) 1 Day
    4. Mark 15:42 (Joseph Buries Him That Evening Abib 15th) 2 Nights
    5. Luke 23:56 Rested Because 4th Commandment Abib 16th 3 Nights & 2 Days
    6. Matthew 28:1 (Abib 17th Come In Dark Early In Morning) 3 Days

  2. Three Days Since This Has Happen Luke 24:21
Luke 24:21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done. Counting back from when this was said: Abib 17th day one (sunday), Abib 16th day two (saturday), Abib 15th the third day since these things happened (friday).
  3. Yahshua First Fruit Raised Morrow After The Sabbath-Source The Word
Leviticus 23:10-11 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When Ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.

As you can see the first fruit always occurred on the morrow after the Sabbath which occurred. Abib 14th was the Passover, Abib 15th was Feast, Abib 16th was the Sabbath, Abib 17th was the first fruit day and Christ is the first fruit of many first fruits.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1 Corinthians 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Mark 16:9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he
appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

As you can also see if you deny Mark 16:9 as to when Christ was raised then you have to conclude that the Word does not tell when Christ was risen and one begins to speculate or use their own reasoning as to when he was raised from the dead.

  4. Went To Tomb First Opportunity They Had
Because of the Sabbath command found in Exodus 16:29, where we are commanded to not leave our homes, other than for service or short walks, they were not able to visit the tomb until after the Sabbath. The first opportunity they had they went to the tomb on the first day of the week.

Exodus 16:29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the Sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

  10. Prepared Spices Right After Burial And Rested The Sabbath Luke 23:56
See diagram at top. This part gets confusing for some. They think that they had to buy the spices found in Mark 16:1 to prepare them, but this was not necessary as they prepared spices that they already had, then after the Sabbath was over they still needed more spices so they bought some after the Sabbath was over.
  11. Bought Spices After The Sabbath Mark 16:1
They buy spices after the seventh day commandment to rest. The commandment to rest was referred to the seventh day commandment, not the feast day Sabbath. Probably purchased Saturday evening just after sunset.

Mark 16:1 And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

  12. Herod Gives Order To Kill Newborns Under Age 2 Matthew 2:16
Yahshua I born the seventh month of 4BC and Herod gives order to kill all those under 2 when Jesus is still under 2 years old. Herod dies between an eclipse on December 29, 1BC - APRIL 6, 1AD Passover. Eclipse is followed by a fast on following day which is the 10th month 10th day.
  13. Daniel 9:25 Yahushua 483 Years Unto The Messiah
Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

This decree to restore (the laws) and rebuild Jerusalem came in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes reign whose reign began in 476BC. Nehemiah 2:1 In the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, when wine was before him, I picked up the wine, and gave it to the king. Now I had not been sad before in his presence.

Nehemiah 2:5 I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, that you would send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may build it.” Nehemiah 8:1 All the people gathered themselves together as one man into the wide place that was in front of the water gate; and they spoke to Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which Yahweh had commanded to Israel.

  14. The Wrath To Come Came Within That Generation In 70AD
The wrath that came upon Jerusalem came within a generation, forty years later in 70AD.

Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

  15. Letter To The Emperor
Pilate, Prefect of the Roman province of Judaea from AD 26-36, wrote letter to Tiberius, the emperor recommending that Jesus become a Roman God. The main reason this was not approved was the opposition of Sejanus, who died 10/18/21 AD. This gives a reference point that Christ had to be crucified before this date, which eliminates a 33AD crucifixion. Christ could be crucified no later then 31AD.
  16. He Is Betrayed And Then On The Third Day Rises
Mat 20:18-19 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

There is only three days worth of scripture mentioned from the crucifixion to the resurrection, there is not verses to support four days with a Thursday crucifixion, or five days with a Wednesday crucifixion.

Also Luke 13:32 shows us how to count to the third day.

Luke 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day (Friday) and to morrow (Saturday), and the third (Sunday) I shall be perfected.

  17. The Day Of His Crucifixion Is A High Day
John 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day, (FOR THAT SABBATH DAY WAS AN HIGH DAY,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

The day he was crucified was the feast day a high Sabbath day. Abib 15th

  18. Matthew 28:1 Mentions Plural Sabbaths
The reason it is mentioned is plural is to establish the idea of a week. Matthew 28:1 is conveying this action took place at the end of the week. The seventh day Sabbath is the end of the week and the following day is called the first day of the week by YHWH. The day begins at morning.
  19. King Agrippa Dies In 44 AD, 14 Years After Paul's Conversion
Paul is converted in 30AD shortly after Christ ascension, and spends three years being taught by Christ. Agrippa dies in 44AD. While Paul, Barnabas, and Titus were at Jerusalem, King Herod Agrippa died. His death is well documented to have occurred in 44 A.D.. If we subtract 14 years from 44 A.D., it brings us to 30 A.D., which is the year of Paul's conversion and again shows that Christ crucifixion must occur no later then 31AD.

Galatians 2:1 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.

Acts 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him (Herod Agrippa), because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

Mark 15:6 Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.
  21. Stone Rolled Back 1st Day Of The Week In The Morning At Sunrise
They travel (cometh) by dark (John 20:1) but came unto the tomb at sunrise ( Mark 16: 2 Matthew 28:1). They see the stone rolled away by the angel of the Yah, (John 20:1 , Matthew 28:2) This rules out the ability to prove a Saturday resurrection because the tomb wasn't opened until sunrise the first day of the week.
  22. Ezekiel Stated That Israel Would It Would Be 40 Years Till Seige
From the time Christ was crucified to the seige it was 40 years. According to Josephus they set camp by the city on Abib 14th, 70AD a exactly a full forty years. Ezekiel 4:6-7 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year. Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
